To rent a vehicle from Travellofy India, you must:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Hold a valid Indian Driving Licence
- Provide valid Aadhaar and PAN card (originals)
- Have at least 1 year of active driving experience
Bookings are confirmed only after receipt of the security deposit and signing of the rental agreement. Verbal or WhatsApp confirmations alone do not constitute a confirmed booking.
A refundable security deposit is collected at the time of vehicle pickup. The deposit amount varies by vehicle — ranging from ₹1,500 to ₹10,000.
Travellofy India reserves the right to deduct from the deposit for any damage, fuel shortfall, or pending challans incurred during the rental period.
- Only the person named in the rental agreement may drive the vehicle
- The renter must carry all original documents at all times while driving
- The vehicle must be returned at the agreed time and location
- The renter is responsible for all traffic violations, challans, and fines during the rental period
- The vehicle must not be used for any illegal activity, racing, or off-road use (unless specifically permitted)
- Smoking inside the vehicle is not permitted
- Pets are not permitted without prior approval
The renter is fully responsible for any damage to the vehicle during the rental period, including damage caused by third parties while the vehicle is in the renter's possession.
In the event of an accident, the renter must:
- Inform Travellofy India immediately at 9873315940
- File a police report if required
- Not admit liability or make any payment to third parties without our written consent
Damage repair costs will be assessed after vehicle inspection and may be deducted from the security deposit or charged separately.
The vehicle is provided with a noted fuel level as recorded in the rental agreement. It must be returned at the same or higher fuel level. Fuel shortfall will be charged at current market rates plus a refuelling service charge.
Vehicles must be returned by the agreed return time. Late returns without prior approval will be charged at the applicable daily rate for each additional day or part thereof.
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the pickup time will receive a full refund of any advance payment. Cancellations within 24 hours of pickup may be subject to a cancellation charge. No-shows will forfeit any advance payment made.
The vehicle carries standard third-party motor insurance as required by law. This does not cover damage to the rental vehicle itself. Renters are advised that they assume financial responsibility for any damage to the vehicle during the rental period.
Travellofy India intends to introduce comprehensive rental insurance coverage in the future. Updates will be communicated on our website.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Gurugram, Haryana.
